Things to do in Raleigh
Ok. Raleigh for the freaks or 'Things I like to do here and I'm kinda
Weird'
(disclaimer: none of this is truly goth, then again who is? :)
(1) Coffee House: Cup-A-Joe on Hillsborough St. You can smoke, it's kinda
big and there are random cool people there. Good from 11a - 4p usually.

(3) Magik + Occult: Dancing Moon (off Glenwood) - More books, videos,
covering many different new age, occult, and other such mysticisms
(4) Head Shops : Curious Goods (On Hillsborough) Incense, candles, rock
tshirts, way to much grateful dead paraphenailla - some pipes and smoking
accesories
(6) Head Shops : Slacker (on Morgan St - right after Hillsborough/Morgan
Split) Best selection of pipes, smoking needs, alien stickers, frisbee
golf stuff.
(7) Book Stores : Nice Price Books (Hilllsborough St.) Great used books
and used CD's. I've even picked up some nice LP's there.
(8) Book Stores : Readers Corner (Hillsborough St.) Lotsa old books. Huge
'Honor System' Bookshelfs outside (!) the store
(9) Comic Books/Gaming : Capitol Comic Books (hillsborough st) Toys,
games, comics. I don't know much about this stuff
(10) Comic Books/Gaming : Foundations Edge (Hillsborough St) Toys,
games, comics, t-shirts. I don't know much about this stuff
(11) Record Stores : School Kids Records (hillsborough st.) So hip they
could just Pee. Lot's of used/new decent seletion. Occassional has IN,
Permission, Outburn, etc.
(12) Records Stores : Record Exchange (Hillsborugh St.) New kid on the
strip. Has occasional in store live shows. New and Used CDs.
(14) 24hr Restaurant : Waffle House (Awful Haus)
(15) 24hr Restaurant : International House of Pancakes
(16) Live Music : The Brewery - all sorts of live stuff, rarely a larger
named act
(17) Leather/Fetish : 1 Hour Sin Shop/Gummi/Inovations - High Quality
leather/latex, corsets, restraints, boots
(18) Flea Markets : Raleigh Flea Marke Sat/Sun 10a - 5p lots of dealers, inside
and out. Regular stores in builds. Decent Army Surplus store. Vendors vary.
